“Eject. One of Blaster’s cassettes. You’reone of Soundwave’s cassettes, but I ain’t sure from which dimension yet.” Eject might not be at his best at the moment, but he still knows several tricks of surveillance, even with his own abilities down. His tone is curious, not overtly hostile. “Welcome to the multiverse, I guess. Soundwave’ll probably catch you up. …uh, dependin’ on which Soundwave is your carrier…”
Ravage could make some comment about Blaster, but… that comment about dimensions was troubling. She’d play nice for the moment, at least until she knew what was going on.
«And do most… Soundwaves… know about these “dimensions”?»
“All the ones on this comm net do. I’ll give you a crash course. Basically, what you’re doin’ now? This network you’re on? It’s a multi-dimensional hub of communication. For instance…” He narrows his visor as he examines her signal. “I can’t tell where you are, but I can tell you ain’t in my dimension. I don’t think we’ve all gotten together and made a count or nothin’, but basically…”
He pauses as he searches for the right word. “Basically it’s… a clusterfuck.” He nods to himself is satisfaction. “Folks are gettin’ sucked back and forth between dimensions, mechs and femmes are meetin’ doubles of themselves—it’s all really weird, but once you, y’know, accept that weird is normal, it ain’t that hard to get used to.”
